Baghdad Kurdish MP Salim Hamza ruled out the completion of the quorum for parliamentary sessions for the coming period.
He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that: Most of the current MPs are candidates for the early elections, which are scheduled to take place next October.
Hamza added that: The MPs are busy with these elections and have begun to work for them, which is a major reason for the lack of a quorum, indicating that the issue of holding the next sessions is very difficult.
The House of Representatives had adjourned its session scheduled for last Tuesday to next Sunday, due to the lack of a quorum.
