A member of the parliamentary committee on foreign relations, Khalid al-Asadi expressed his rejection to foreign interference in the Iraqi political affairs, especially in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
“The sovereignty of Iraq is a red line and no one can encroach it,” he said in a statement, and the Iraqis, after their cohesion in combating and defeating terrorism, have overcome the stage of sectarian strife, which established by regimes that did not live up the political process that followed the fall of the former regime. .
Asadi stressed that Iraqis are seeking today to rebuild their country and improve their economy and achieve what they hope for stability and well-being after all they have suffered in previous years.
