National Security Adviser Visits National Investment Commission, Confirms: Reconstruction Enhances Security

Baghdad National Security Adviser Qassem Al-Araji confirmed that reconstruction enhances security.

The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “Al-Araji met today with the head of the National Investment Commission, Suha Al-Najjar, and during the meeting, procedures to facilitate investment were discussed in order to continue the process of development and reconstruction in the country.”

Al-Araji stressed the importance of providing the necessary support to the authority, to carry out its tasks and enter into a real investment phase to improve the urban and service reality.

He pointed out that the success of the investment process in Iraq would contribute to enhancing security, providing job opportunities for Iraqi labor and improving the level of Iraqi per capita income, stressing by saying: “Reconstruction enhances security.”

For her part, Al-Najjar stressed that “the government’s support for investment accelerates the pace of reconstruction and development in the country and opens the door to new projects that serve the citizen and the state.”
