Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani met with US Ambassador to Iraq Douglas Silliman, the dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil, the process of reconstruction and economic recovery.
A statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government said that Barzani met in Erbil, the US ambassador to Iraq, in the presence of Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the dialogue process between Erbil and Baghdad, the elections in Iraq and the Kurdistan region, and the conference of reconstruction of Iraq recently held in Kuwait, and reconstruction plans and encourage the private sector to participate in the process.
Another aspect of the meeting was to highlight the means that would be a factor to stimulate and develop the economic field in Iraq in general, and facilitate the reconstruction process, and pave the way for the investment sector and foreign companies to participate in this process.
