Baghdad The Anti-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region announced the arrest of one of the participants in the bombing that targeted Al-Wahailat market in Sadr City last week.
The agency stated, in a press statement, that “the security services in the federal government requested assistance from the Kurdistan Regional Government with the aim of arresting one of the participants in that crime, therefore it provided the anti-terrorist agency in the region with the name of one of the wanted men who participated in the group that carried out the terrorist operation.”
It added, “After following up, the wanted person was arrested, and his full name is (HYAH) from the people of Hawija, and he is now a resident of (Hassan Sham) camp for the displaced,” noting that “the suspect (H) was handed over to the security services of the federal government by order of the judge.”
