A security source in Kirkuk reported that the detachments of the Swat force of the Kirkuk Police Chief managed to seize a car bomb west of the Kirkuk-Erbil road and killed its driver.
The source said that according to information available to the Police Command about the existence of the car bomb and was ambushed in the direction of Kirkuk- Erbil, northwest of the city and after the request of the force of the driver to dismount he tried to escape and the force was able to kill him and control of the vehicle and was dismantled by experts without damage.
