Baghdad Palestine’s Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Maliki affirmed: “Israel is the thief who violated our homes and killed our children.”
Al-Maliki said at the emergency session of the UN Security Council: “There is no nation on the ground that accepts the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians,” noting: “Entire families were killed in Gaza and buildings were demolished to the ground.”
He added, “On the anniversary of the June catastrophe, Israel continues its policies of expropriation and forced displacement of Palestinians.”
He addressed the members of the Security Council, saying: “If you want peace, protect the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood from what it is exposed to. ”
