Palestinian Prime Minister Urges International Community to Airdrop Aid into Gaza

Baghdad - The Palestinian Prime Minister, Muhammad Shtayyeh, appealed to the United Nations and the European Union for the airdropping of aid into the Gaza Strip, particularly in its northern region. In his weekly Cabinet meeting, he urged for the creation of relief corridors to Gaza, emphasizing that aid should not be restricted to the Rafah crossing only.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this request follows Jordan's recent humanitarian efforts, as reported by the Jordanian News Agency, Petra. A Jordanian Air Force plane successfully parachuted urgent medical supplies to a field hospital in Gaza for the second time in a week. On November 6, King Abdullah II of Jordan announced that the Jordanian Air Force had carried out a midnight operation to deliver critical medical and pharmaceutical aid to the Jordanian field hospital in Gaza. In a post on the X platform, King Abdullah highlighted Jordan's commitment to assisting the war-affected in Gaza, reaffirming Jordan's support for the Palestinian people.
