Baghdad The Future bloc has announced that it refuses to vote on the government formation of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, due to the fact that this formation will repeat the mistakes of its predecessors.
The bloc’s MP, Serkot Shams El-Din, said that “The Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish parties have escalated their differences during the past few days, and some have announced their total refusal to vote on the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi,” considering their refusal comes due to being removed from the government formation or reducing their stakes in it, which led them to take these situation”.
He added, “We have not seen those blocs have wrestled with the government program and how to implement it during the next stage or set a vision for the financial crisis that is ravaging Iraq or stabilizing security and confining arms to the state,” noting that “the bloc after all this announced that it will not vote on the government formation, because it will repeat the mistakes of its counterparts from previous governments in complimenting the political parties and blocs and making them do whatever they like without paying attention to any decisions that any person might make, whatever their position in the state. ”
