Baghdad The Head of the Parliamentary Transport Committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, confirmed that the recurrence of fires at Baghdad Airport is suspicious, and the dismissal of its officials is correct.
She said in a televised statement that the discovery of the failure of the central firefighting system since 2013 at Baghdad International Airport, without the concern of the concerned authorities, is a very dangerous matter.
She explained that this disruption is a real catastrophe in the work of the aviation authority, and it is assumed that these systems will be followed up on a monthly basis through inspection teams on this matter.
She confirmed that there is a real organizational defect in the aviation authority.
