Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi chaired, today, Sunday, a meeting of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety, to discuss the seriousness of the current epidemiological situation throughout the country, and the increase in the number of infections during the past period.
The meeting also discussed preparations for the Arbaeen visit of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, where the Supreme Committee for Health and National Safety agreed to enter (30,000) pilgrims (visitors) from the Islamic Republic of Iran, and (10,000) visitors from the Arab Gulf countries and other countries to perform the rituals of the Arbaeen visit, through Iraqi international airports (exclusively), provided that the visitor has a negative (PCR) examination certificate, which was conducted within (72) hours before entering Iraq.
