Baghdad The President of the Defense University for Higher Military Studies, Lieutenant General Saad Muzher Al-Alaq, discussed with the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Army, Lieutenant General Nadim Reza Nishan, cooperation between the two sides in the field of training and exchange of experiences.
A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that, Al-Alaq received today, Wednesday, the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani Army, and during the visit an extended meeting was held and a detailed briefing was provided on the university and its training institutions.
During the meeting, prospects for cooperation between the two sides were discussed, especially in the field of training and exchange of experiences.
It is mentioned that the Pakistani Army Chief of Staff arrived in Baghdad at the official invitation of the Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, and he had an official reception on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, in the presence of senior officers of the ministry. ”
Upon the arrival of the delegation, the Army Chief of Staff held an expanded meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, during which they discussed prospects for cooperation and coordination between the two countries and the exchange of experiences in various fields.
For his part, the Pakistani Army Chief of Staff praised the capabilities of the Iraqi army and the great sacrifices and heroism it made in fighting terrorist organizations and achieving victory over them.
After that, Minister of Defense Jumaa Enad Saadoun received in his office the Chief of Staff of the Pakistani army and his accompanying delegation, and during the meeting they discussed relations between the two countries in various fields.
