The Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan said that it is time for the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammad al-Sudani, to intervene directly in the events of Kirkuk and eradicate the problem from its roots, in coordination with the local government, army forces and the PMF in the city.
He added in a statement today that the PUK and our masses are committed to restraint for the sake of the public interest and the protection of peace, and we look forward to the federal government and the rest of the parties in Kirkuk to carry out their responsibilities.
