Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako affirmed that: “There is no future for coexistence except by changing the applicable laws.”
A statement by the Cardinal’s office stated: “Sako received the Greek Ambassador to Iraq, Georgios Alamanos, and they discussed the issue of human rights, especially the rights of Christians, Yazidis, and Mandaeans.”
Sako stressed that: “There is no future for coexistence except by changing the laws in force now and enacting new laws that keep pace with the times and preserve the consolidation of citizenship and living together in peace, freedom and dignity
