Saudi Arabia To Receive Iraqi Students With Complete Files In Its Universities Next Academic Year

Baghdad The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed it will receive Iraqi students with complete files in its universities, starting from the beginning of the next academic year.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iraq’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Abdul Sattar Hadi Al-Janabi, met with the Undersecretary of the Saudi Ministry of Education for International Cooperation, Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Qasumi, for the purpose of following up on the developments of the admission of Iraqi students to the Saudi elite program directed to outstanding Iraqi students.

The two sides discussed the mechanisms for accepting Iraqi students in Saudi universities, as well as other topics. Al-Qasumi confirmed the completion of a number of files, and students with complete files will be received in Saudi universities starting from the beginning of the next academic year, and the Saudi authorities have taken all necessary measures to enroll them. Informing the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education of the names of students accepted for the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral stages.
