Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the arrest of a terrorist cell in a security operation in Kirkuk.

The cell’s statement stated that by following up the ISIS gang members from the sleeper cells and during the past 48 hours, the detachments of the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency in the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest a terrorist detachment consisting of (6) terrorists whose work was active in Kirkuk Governorate, wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article (4/ Terrorism). They confessed, through interrogations, to participating in terrorist operations against the security forces and citizens before the liberation operations, and then they were assigned to one of the sleeper cells in Kirkuk governorate, where their initial and judicial statements were recorded and legal measures were taken against them.
