Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the destruction of a den of terrorist elements, the arrest of five suspects, and the seizure of weapons and equipment in Diyala.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated: “A force from the second and third brigades in the Rapid Response Division of the Ministry of Interior, in cooperation with the Diyala Governorate Police, carried out a wide search operation in Al-Mansuriya district.”

The statement added: “The operation, which was based on intelligence information provided by the division’s intelligence, resulted in the destruction of a den of terrorist elements, the arrest of five suspects, and the seizure of quantities of light and medium equipment. The joint force also found a 60 mm mortar, a number of shells, a number of bombs, day and night binoculars, as well as the seizure of a number of shields, RBG7 launcher, and the amount of light and medium gear.
