Baghdad Al-Jazeera Operations Command in the Popular Mobilization launched search operations in Jurf Al-Nasr areas this morning, in cooperation with the army units, and Karbala operations.

The military assistant to Al-Jazeera Operations Command indicated in a statement: “The 47th and 45th brigades have started inspections in the areas of al-Askhari neighborhood that extends on the Karbala road, which is the pilgrims’ (visitors) road in the coming days.”

He explained, “These operations came in coordination with the Karbala Operations Command to secure the pilgrims’ road during the Arbaeen visit,” while he stressed concerted efforts to prevent any attempt of terrorism in the areas of Jurf Al-Nasr and the Karbala belt, and that Al-Jazeera Operations Command is present in it if any information regarding the security and stability of the region is received
