Baghdad The Energy Police Directorate seized 8 vehicles intended for smuggling oil and arrested 8 suspects in different governorates.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated that the vehicles were seized in separate places, 5 of them in Baghdad governorate, and 5 suspects were arrested, and in Nineveh one vehicle and Salah al-Din a vehicle as well, as well as a vehicle in Basra governorate, and three of the accused were arrested.” They were riding them.”
He added, “This campaign comes within the security plan to eliminate the gangs smuggling oil and its derivatives, which was implemented by the Energy Police Directorate.
