Shakhwan Abdullah affirms Iraq’s keenness to enhance cooperation with industrialized countries and to establish economic and investment partnerships

Baghdad / NINA / – Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, affirmed today, Thursday, Iraq’s keenness to enhance cooperation with industrialized countries and to conclude economic and investment partnerships.

The media office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said, in a statement, that “Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah held, on the sidelines of the activities of the Berlin Economic Forum, which is currently being held in Germany, and which continues for several days, side meetings and discussions with the German side, in addition to his meeting with the director of the Academy of Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, (Mark Don Frad), and the former German Minister of Economics (Derek Nebel).
The statement added, “During the two meetings, they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations with friendly countries and activate the work of the parliamentary friendship committees.”
Abdullah stressed, “Iraq’s keenness to strengthen coordination and cooperation mechanisms with major industrial countries, to hold economic and investment partnerships, and to contribute to reconstruction, reconstruction and empowerment to implement infrastructure projects to provide basic services to citizens.”/ End
