Sheikh Janki and the Coordinator of the Change Movement discuss with the President of the Republic the situation in Iraq and the upcoming elections

Baghdad The Co-Chairman of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Lahore Sheikh Janki, and the General Coordinator of the Change Movement, Omar Sayed Ali, discussed with the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, a number of files in the Kurdistan region and Iraq.

This came according to the website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, during a visit by the Co-Chairman of the Patriotic Union and the General Coordinator of the Change Movement to the President of the Republic at his residence in the Mirka area in Sulaymaniyah today, Saturday, where the meeting was held in the presence of members of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and members of the Change Movement rooms.

In the meeting, the two sides exchanged views and opinions on the general situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan region and the issue of the upcoming elections, and consensus views on the need to intensify efforts to overcome challenges to secure the security and stability of citizens.

During the meeting, Sheikh Janki reiterated the importance and fate of the upcoming elections as a public demand to carry out reforms and correct the course of the undesirable conditions and situations facing the country, considering the formation of the Kurdistan alliance between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Change Movement, an important step for the stability and unity of the ranks and Kurdish discourse in Baghdad.

The co-chairperson stressed the role of the Patriotic Union, which motivates all Kurdish parties to gather under the umbrella of this alliance after the elections, because we believed that together we are stronger and together in Baghdad we can defend the legitimate and constitutional rights of our people.
