Baghdad The Shiite Endowment affirmed that any conference concerned with establishing relations with the Zionist occupation entity is a betrayal of the Islamic nation and a crime punishable by law.

It said in a statement that it condemns and denounces such acts and stresses the need to adhere to the original Islamic and Iraqi principles that call us to stand against dealing with any party hostile to Islam and humanity.

The statement added that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, said: He who does not care about the affairs of Muslims is not one of them, How can we forget the difficult humanitarian conditions that the Palestinian people have gone through, for it is imperative that we take practical steps towards lifting this injustice and cutting the paths for all attempts at normalization with the oppressors and the enemies of Islam.

It pointed out that: Such actions referred to are considered treason to the Islamic nation, in addition to being a crime punishable by the Iraqi Penal Code the most severe penalties, as it stipulates the criminalization of promoting Zionism frankly.

It called on those concerned to pay attention to the seriousness of this movement and to take appropriate measures in accordance with Iraqi law
