Basra The delegation of the European Union delegation discussed with the Southern Technical University the continuous work plan for cooperation with the mission in serving the development of the university.
According to a statement by the university, the delegation listened to an explanation given by the department directors and teachers concerned with the training programs and activities in which the university participated in cooperation with the European Union and UNESCO, such as the Bologna track program (subject area and quality area).
He added that the training workshops attended by the work team assigned by the university were also discussed.
The university’s activities related to the TVET program and the university’s participation in the training workshop that dealt with the labor market’s need for competencies and skills were presented to the visiting delegation. The delegation was also briefed on the activities of the Continuing Education Center and the Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the university, as well as the workshops and courses that were held for the Basra Refineries Company and Shell Oil Company.
