Supporters of a losing candidate in the elections block the Baghdad-Kirkuk road for the second time

Baquba Supporters of Al-Nasr coalition candidate Riyad Al-Tamimi, who lost in the elections, cut off the Baghdad-Kirkuk road for the second time today.

A local source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) correspondent: “Dozens of Al-Tamimi’s supporters blocked the Baghdad-Kirkuk road near Khalis district, north of Baquba, for the second time in protest against the election results.”

A local source had announced earlier today the reopening of the Baghdad-Kirkuk road after it was closed for hours by supporters of the losing candidate, Riyad Al-Tamimi.
