Baghdad Clashes erupted between elements of the “Taliban” movement and a number of women who gathered in front of the presidential palace in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
The media reported: “Clashes erupted this morning between the Taliban and women who protested against the movement, which resulted in a woman being slightly wounded.”
Afghani women have previously took the streets in demonstrations against the “Taliban” to demand their rights, in separate areas of Afghanistan.
Last week, the streets of the Afghan state of Herat witnessed demonstrations calling for the respect of women’s rights and their participation in the government.
