Baghdad - The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation has reported that Israel's mini-government has authorized the completion of a prisoner exchange deal with the Hamas movement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Israel has agreed to the conditions set by Hamas for the hostage release deal, transferring the next move to Hamas. The deal reportedly involves the release of 50 detainees in the Gaza Strip and Palestinian women detained in Israel, accompanied by a proposed five-day truce. This development indicates a significant step in negotiations between Israel and Hamas, potentially leading to a notable prisoner exchange.
