The Anti-Terrorism Agency thwarts a terrorist plot south of Baghdad

Baghdad Spokesman for the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasoul announced that the Anti-Terrorism Agency thwarted a terrorist plot south of Baghdad.

He stated on his website that according to the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the knights of the Anti-Terrorism Agency continue their qualitative operations to defeat the schemes of ISIS terrorist gangs.

He added that the Anti-terrorism Agency thwarted a terrorist plot south of the capital, Baghdad, by arresting an official of one of the terrorist cells, who in turn admitted the existence of a stockpile of equipment containing weapons, ammunition, explosive devices, combat kits and silencers.

Rasoul continued: After that, our heroes in the Anti-Terrorism Agency headed towards the districts of Anbar Governorate, where they were able to arrest (3) members of ISIS remnants. The men of the Agency concluded their duties by arresting a terrorist element in the capital, Baghdad.
