Amara Unidentified gunmen assassinated, this evening, Saturday, a judge of the Maysan Court of Appeal, and they fled.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Judge Ahmed Faisal in Al-Shabanah area in Al-Amarah city, the center of the province, which led to his death, and the gunmen fled.”

He added, “The victim is one of the judges in the Maysan Court of Appeal, and he is specialized in drug cases.”

He indicated that the security forces transferred the body to the forensic medicine and opened an investigation into the accident.
