The body of a young man was recovered from the Euphrates River, north of Hilla

Al-Hilla The River Police in the Babylon Police announced that the body of a young man in his twenties was recovered from the Euphrates River passing through Sadat Al-Hindi district, north of Babylon.

The Director of Babylon Police Information, Brigadier Adel Al-Husseini, said, “a report reached the river police that a young man in his twenties drowned today, Friday, in the Euphrates River passing through Sadat Al-Hindi district, north of Babylon, and that the police managed to retrieve the body after two hours of searching.”

He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine department, and that an investigation had been opened into the accident.
