The Coordinating Framework ends its meeting, and Al-Amiri confirms: No agreement to nominate the Speaker of Parliament yet

Baghdad The joint meeting of representatives of the blocs and forces of the Coordination Framework, which was held at the home of the head of Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri, ended this evening, Saturday, in the presence of the head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, without a final agreement on rapprochement with the Sadrist movement.

Informed sources, who were inside the meeting, revealed that “the coordinating framework will attend the first official session of the new House of Representatives scheduled to be held tomorrow, Sunday, to take the constitutional oath for the new winning candidates only, and will not vote for a coalition candidate who has advanced and determined for the position of parliament speaker, Mohammad al-Halbousi.”

Meanwhile, Hadi al-Amiri, head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, confirmed that “there is no consensus, for the moment, on naming the Speaker of Parliament.”

The blocs and forces of the coordination framework, held this evening, Saturday, their joint meeting in the office of the head of Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri, in the presence of representatives of the framework and the members allied with them.
