Baghdad Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi chaired today, Tuesday, the fourth regular session of the Council of Ministers.
During the session, according to a statement by the Media Office of the Council of Ministers, the most important issues and developments in the country were reviewed, topics on the agenda were discussed, and decisions were issued.
The Cabinet session witnessed the hosting of the advanced cadre of the Ministry of Electricity; to discuss the electric power crisis that the country is currently witnessing, a comprehensive plan for the issue of electricity was presented, including the most important treatments and requirements.
The statement added, “the Council of Ministers hosted the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, and the Commander of the Border Forces. During the hosting, the current status of the borders, and the security plans for securing them, and meeting their requirements, increased the capabilities of our forces to face security challenges in all their forms.”
The epidemiological report, the measures taken to confront the Corona pandemic, the developments of the work of the committee to strengthen government measures in the areas of prevention, health awareness control to limit the spread of the virus, health efforts made to confront the current wave of the pandemic, and measures taken to provide the necessary treatments and secure the vaccine, and urging citizens to adhere to prevention and take vaccinations from health outlets spread throughout Iraq.
After discussing the topics on the agenda, the Council of Ministers issued a number of decisions.
