The Dutch ambassador to Iraq visits Najaf and meets its governor

Najaf The Governor of Najaf, Majid Al-Waeli, received this morning, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Iraq, Johannes Lindert Sande and his accompanying delegation.

Al-Waeli’s media office said that “during the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two sides.”

The Dutch ambassador said, “It is a matter of pride to be in the holy city of Najaf, the city of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), this great city, indicating that he decided that the first governorate among the central and southern governorates he visits would be Najaf.”

For his part, the governor confirmed, “we talked about a number of topics in the field of reconstruction, services, security and public affairs, and a set of plans and projects that the governorate intends to implement during the coming period, especially in the field of governance and digital transformation because of its great importance.
