The Foreign Minister discusses with the British Minister of Defense the strengthening of security and military cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein met today, Tuesday, with British Minister of Defense Ben Wallis, at the headquarters of the British Ministry of Defense in London.

During the meeting, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries on the security and military levels, and to build capabilities in British military academies and colleges, in a way that enhances the capabilities of the Iraqi military establishment.

The two sides also discussed the role of Iraq and its efforts in promoting regional stability and the continued British support for Iraq’s efforts at the security level.
