The Foreign Ministry affirms Iraq’s keenness on the security and stability of Tunisia

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Iraq’s keenness on the security and stability of Tunisia.

A statement by the Ministry stated that the Acting Head of the Arab department, Osama Mahdi Ghanem, met the Tunisian Ambassador to Baghdad, Reda Zguidan. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, the latest developments in the Tunisian Republic and the decisions of Tunisian President Kais Saied, according to which the parliament was suspended for a month and the Prime Minister and a number of its members were dismissed.

The head of the Arab Department affirmed Iraq’s keenness on the security and stability of Tunisia, wishing prosperity to the Arab peoples, including the brotherly Tunisia, expressing his aspiration that the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Tunisia would witness more cooperation and coordination.
