Baghdad, The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Republic of Iraq’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Swedish authorities’ allowing an extremist to burn a copy of the Holy Qur’an in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm.

“These events would inflame the feelings of Muslims around the world and constitute a dangerous provocation for them,” the ministry said in a statement.
