The French Presidency: The leaders of France, Egypt and Jordan agreed to launch a humanitarian initiative in Gaza

Baghdad The French Presidency said today, Tuesday, that President Emmanuel Macron and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and Jordanian King Abdullah II, have agreed to launch a humanitarian initiative in Gaza.

A statement by the French presidency stated that Paris “calls on the UN Security Council to pass a resolution on the Middle East conflict.”

He added, “the three countries have agreed on 3 simple elements: The shooting must stop, and the United Nations Security Council must address this issue (the escalation between the Israelis and the Palestinians), and we also called for a vote on a resolution on this file.”
