Baghdad Head of the Iraqi Bar Association, Dhiaa Al-Saadi, at the head of a union delegation, met with the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad Al-Maliki, today, Monday, at the Cabinet’s guesthouse to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian situation and the war against the Zionist entity.
The Head of the Bar affirmed in a statement, “the necessity of consolidating and strengthening the Palestinian national struggle towards the single desired goal, and affirming that the Palestine Liberation Organization is the legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
Al-Saadi pointed out that “the recent events that took place after the Palestinian people’s revolution against the usurping Zionist entity have aroused the attention of peoples in all countries of the world.”
He stressed, “the Palestinian issue now needs practical work other than statements and declaring positions only, adding that the multiple violations are, in terms of legal description, according to international law, mass murders of a racist nature based on discrimination and ethnic cleansing, and they are a valid basis for the emergence of the international criminal responsibility of individuals and the political and military leaders of the Zionist entity. ”
For his part, the Minister welcomed the union delegation, speaking of the need to focus on some practical legal cases, in addition to other types of confrontations, reviewing the most important steps that the Palestinian state has taken in its judicial war and instituting cases before international courts and the size of the pressures that accompany the course of these Suits.
Al-Maliki pointed out that “the Al-Aqsa Mosque is defiled and violated by the occupation soldiers, and invaders and settlers are allowed to enter, while a Muslim is prohibited from praying in the mosque every day.
The Minister pointed out that the battle of Al-Quds is the battle that we must remain in our souls to defend it in the name of all Arabs, Muslims and free people in the world.
