The Head Of The National Security Agency Discusses With Plasschaert Issues Of Common Interest

Baghdad The head of the National Security Agency, Abdul-Ghani Al-Asadi, discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, issues of common interest.

Al-Asadi’s office said in a statement that the meeting witnessed a discussion of a number of topics of common interest, stressing the importance of security stability for the country to move forward in its reconstruction and development and the role of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq in many areas.

Al-Asadi affirmed that the National Security Agency is for all Iraqis, and we have plans and strategies that we have begun to develop the work of the device and mobilize all efforts to provide security for citizens and perform the duties assigned to it.

For her part, Plasschaert praised the efforts of the National Security Agency and the head of the agency, stressing that Iraq is on the verge of early elections that require security stability, and there is a decision by the Security Council to monitor the elections, which everyone must work for their success.
