The Head Of The PMF Confirms: The Security Forces And The PMF Are The Protectors Of The Homeland And Sovereignty

Baghdad The head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh al-Fayyad, affirmed the PMF’s keenness on the prestige of the state and government, stressing that the security forces and the PMF are the protectors of the homeland and sovereignty.

He said in his speech at the celebration of the anniversary of the founding of the Popular Mobilization Forces: “The supreme religious authority is present in all the decisive joints,” noting that “the religious authority set a road map for the situation in Iraq.”

He added: “The religious authority set the path of establishing the popular mobilization, and that the fatwa was the starting point for the popular mobilization.”

He pointed out: “The PMF enjoys a lofty stature and is still called the holy, stressing the need to preserve and protect the popular mobilization, and that wisdom is our pioneer.”

Al-Fayyad stressed that the popular Mobilization has begun to take a presence and a special status, and that the PMF and the security forces are the protectors of the homeland and sovereignty.

He continued, “The Popular Mobilization and the security forces fought side by side, stressing that the PMF and the security forces are one entity.”

He added: “We in the Popular Mobilization are aware of our affairs, and we care greatly about the prestige of the state and the government.”
