A security source in Kirkuk announced the attack on the home of a retired officer in central Kirkuk.

“A homemade grenade fired by a fuse was fired by two people on a motorbike on the officer’s house and fled to an unknown destination,” the source said.

He confirmed that the owner of the house was named Muhammed Hassan Tahseen, born in 1954, a retired colonel, and the attack caused damage to his vehicle.
