Baghdad: The Iraqi National Security Service ( INSS) announced the implementation of an operation in Syria and the overthrow of a leader in the terrorist ISIS.
The INSS said in a statement, ‘Based on accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Anti-Terrorism Cell in the Iraqi National Security Service, after obtaining official approvals, were able to kill a leader of the ISIS terrorist gangs in Syria after coordination with the international coalition, as our detachments followed the movements of the terrorist (K.S.S.).’ He was called (Abu Zeinab) during the past days before he was besieged in Al-Busayra area in Raqqa, Syria, and he was killed after clashes with the implementing force.
The INSS added, “The terrorist worked within Al-Abra detachment on the Iraqi-Syrian border and participated in several operations on the security forces on Al-Siniya Island in Salah al-Din and Al-Baaj Island. He was in charge of (Al-Abra Detachment) from Iraq to Syria, in addition to transporting weapons and exp
losive materials.
