Baghdad The International Coalition forces handed over $655,000 worth of ammunition to the Peshmerga forces.
The Security Media Cell stated in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it that under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command and the Ministry of Peshmerga, the coalition forces delivered ammunition to the Peshmerga forces at a value of 655,384 US dollars.”
It added that these ammunition were provided to support Iraq in its mission to defeat ISIS, and is part of the Training and Equipment Fund Program to Combat ISIS, which has been implemented since 2014.
