Baghdad The Iraqi Artists Syndicate clarified the health status of the artist, Muohammed Hussein Abdul Rahim.

A statement stated, that Head of the Syndicate of Iraqi Artists, Jabbar Jodi, made a phone call to the artist, Muhammed Hussein Abdul Rahim, to check on his health, as he is currently being treated in India at the expense of the Iraqi government.”

The statement added, “the artist Abdul Rahim indicated during the call that he is fine and is still in the treatment stages, while Jodi confirmed that the Syndicate will stand with him and will continue to follow up his condition.”

The son of the artist, Mohammed Hussein Abdul Rahim, had denied, earlier on Tuesday evening, the news of his father’s death, and confirmed that he was undergoing treatment abroad.
