Basra The Iraqi Drilling Company signed today, Thursday, a partnership contract and a joint submission agreement with Schlumberger International, at the company’s headquarters in Al-Barjisiyah in Basra.

The Director General of the Iraqi Drilling Company, Basem Abdel Karim Nasser, said in a statement by the company that the contract includes providing support for the implementation of drilling and reclamation projects in a turnkey manner for the benefit of international companies operating Iraqi oil fields, transferring global expertise and technology, and developing the company’s cadres in the field of oil services to keep pace with the industrial development process of the oil and gas industry in the world.

He explained: that working in the oil industry needs cooperation with other international companies in order to develop work in the field of drilling and reclamation.
