The Israeli army carries out a massive incursion into the eastern area of the city of Nablus

At dawn on Monday, Israeli forces stormed the eastern area of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The official Palestinian News Agency reported: ‘Large army forces stormed the eastern area of the city of Nablus from Awarta checkpoint, accompanied by a bulldozer.’

Israeli forces also stormed Amman Street and the vicinity of Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus.

Local media reported: ‘Israeli forces deployed snipers in several buildings in the suburb area, east of Nablus, coinciding with the massive incursion into the eastern region.’

Palestinian television reported: ‘buses of settlers, under the protection of the army, entered the eastern region of the city of Nablus to perform Talmudic rituals at Joseph’s grave.
