The Joint Operations Command announced the results of the second day of the security operation in Kirkuk

Baghdad The Security Media Cell announced the results of the second day of the security operation in Kirkuk.

A statement by the Cell stated that the security forces, within the advanced headquarters of the Joint Operations Command in Kirkuk, continued, with air support by the Air Force and Army Aviation, for the second day in a row, the wide security operation, from four axes, to search the areas of Wadi Al-Shay, Wadi Zghaitoun, the village of Al-Sada and the district of Tuz, to pursue remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs and clearing these areas, where the results today were: 7 IEDs of various types and 57 mm projectiles were found, and 5 terrorist hideouts were found, which were destroyed, while the seized materials were dealt with according to the contexts.
