Baghdad The joint operations room between the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and the federal army inaugurated its duties today, Sunday, in Kirkuk governorate.
An informed source told the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan website: “Today, 5 officers of the Kurdistan Peshmerga forces began their duties in the Joint Security Coordination Center at the K-One base in Kirkuk.
He added, “The joint operations between the Peshmerga and the army in Kirkuk is the second step after the coordination room was opened in Diyala a few days ago, with the aim of preventing the infiltration of terrorists,” affirming that other joint centers will soon be opened.
