Baquba A local official in Diyala announced his withdrawal from running in the upcoming parliamentary elections, as an independent candidate, in support of another candidate from “Al-Fateh” list led by Hadi Al-Amiri.
The Mayor of Al-Khalis, Uday Al-Khadran, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that he announced his withdrawal from running in the elections in support of the popular mobilization and the sacrifices it made to liberate Diyala and the provinces.
He indicated his support for the popular mobilization candidate from Al-Fateh Alliance (the candidate of the Badr Organization in Diyala) for the third electoral district – Al-Khalis.
