The Mayor Of Baghdad Discusses In Shiraz The Signing Of A MoU For The Development Of The Capital, Baghdad

The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kazem, discussed, in Shiraz, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the signing of a memorandum of understanding to develop infrastructure in the capital, Baghdad.

Kazem said in a statement: “On the sidelines of our participation in the second investment conference in the city of Shiraz in the Islamic Republic of Iran, we visited the headquarters of the municipality of Shiraz and held an important meeting with its Mayor to discuss the establishment of the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Municipality of Baghdad and the municipality of Shiraz.”

He added, “We are working on completing this MoU with the aim of cooperation in the areas of infrastructure services (water, sanitation), the waste recycling sector, the revival of historical and heritage areas, religious tourism, and other important and common areas between the two cities.”
