The Mayor of Baghdad visits the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and praises its effective national role

Baghdad Mayor of Baghdad Ammar Musa visited the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and met the Head of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, Moayad Al-Lami, to congratulate him on his victory in the presidency of the Arab Journalists Union for a second term.

A statement from the Syndicate of Journalists stated: “During the visit, Al-Lami gave a detailed explanation of the nature of the work of the Syndicate and its branches in the governorates, its communication with media institutions and the press family, and what the Syndicate’s media institutions are promoting.”

The Head of the Journalists Syndicate praised the great efforts made by the Baghdad Municipality in order to develop the service and urban aspect of the capital, Baghdad, stressing the readiness of the Journalists Syndicate and the press family to cooperate with the Secretariat in all fields and to enable it to complete its various projects.

For his part, the Mayor of Baghdad praised the distinguished and great efforts made by the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and its outstanding professional and administrative performance, as well as its effective local, Arab and international position, noting: “The Municipality of Baghdad has many service and urban projects in order to show the bright image of the capital, Baghdad, as it deserves everyone can do better.”

The Mayor of Baghdad, accompanied by the head of the Syndicate of Journalists, toured the corridors of the Syndicate and its offices, and was briefed on the progress of the work in it, and expressed his admiration for the accuracy of the organization and the aesthetics of its building, in order to achieve success in its media activities.
